Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial, and do I need a credit card?
Yes. Every new workspace gets a 5-day free trial with unlimited use and no credit card required. Nothing converts automatically: when the trial ends, reviewing pauses until you choose a plan, and your workspace, reminders, playbooks and clause library are kept.
What is the difference between the Individual and Small Team plans?
The difference is seats. Individual covers one user; Small Team covers up to five. Both plans include the same functionality: contract review in Microsoft Word, suggested amendments, risk and missing-clause detection, Track Changes, review records and legal research.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. Both plans are cancel-anytime with no minimum term: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and access continues until then. Subscribing starts billing immediately - the free trial is what you get before subscribing, not part of a purchase.
How much do I save by paying annually?
Annual billing works out to roughly two months free compared with paying monthly on the same plan.
What happens if my team needs more review volume than the plan allows?
Additional volume is available through Review Packs. Review Pack pricing is not published yet, so contact us at founder@aqaritrack.org if you expect to need more than your plan allowance.
Does DueFrame store our contracts?
No. DueFrame processes the contract for the active review only. It saves metadata-only Review records, plus any risks and reminders you choose to keep. It does not retain the contract file, contract text, clause wording, redlines or full comments. If a workspace admin switches on the optional position history, DueFrame also keeps structured positions from each review (for example "cap: 12 months of fees") to compare against your own past agreements - never the contract text, and never shared outside your workspace. It is off by default.
Do I need Microsoft Word to use DueFrame?
Yes. DueFrame runs as a Microsoft Word add-in, and contract review happens inside Word. It supports Word on the web and up-to-date Microsoft 365 versions of Word for Windows (version 2208+) and Mac (16.64+), plus Office 2024; older one-time-purchase versions (2016–2021) are not supported. The website is used for account settings and for the metadata-only records kept after a review.
